Jessie (Hargett) McNeil, 66, of Windsor, Missouri, died Thursday morning, April 27, 2017, at her home in Windsor.
She was born October 29, 1950, in Warsaw, Mo., the daughter of Thomas Forbis Hargett and Ida Josephine (Hankins) Hargett.
Jessie worked as a nurse’s aid for a time and also for Parmalee Industries in Windsor. She was a member of Brandon United Methodist Church, Windsor. She was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and loved Harley Davidson and collecting angels. She also had an extensive collection of California Raisins.
Survivors include a son, Willie McNeil, Windsor, Mo.; 3 grandchildren, Matthew, Josie, and Jade; a great-grandson; a brother, Donnie Hargett, Windsor, Mo.; 2 sisters, Genie Willhite, Windsor, Mo., and Janie Sidwell, Garden City, Mo.; many nieces and nephews, including Nickey Hargett who was like a son; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Billie Hankins, Tommie Hargett, Lonnie Hargett, and Johnnie Hargett.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Rev. Jamie Hargett officiating. Burial will be in the Cable Ridge Cemetery, Climax Springs, Mo. The family will receive friends before the service on Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The family suggests contributions to Cable Ridge Cemetery.
