Nancy Bidleman, 73, of Windsor, Missouri, formerly of Michigan, died Monday afternoon, December 18, 2017, at her daughter’s home in Windsor.
She was born October 16, 1944 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, the daughter of Edward Ferdinand Euralius Lehrbass and Irene Pearl (Budnick) Lehrbass. On August 14, 1964, in Suttons Bay, Mi., she married John Kenneth Bidleman and he preceded her in death on May 8, 2013.
Nancy worked as a secretary for the Leelanau County Road Commission and then was the owner of Bay Area Sewing in Traverse City, Mi. She enjoyed running a cherry farm with her husband John. After moving to Florida, she worked as a CNA for several places in the Palm Bay and Melbourne areas. She also loved to sew, quilt, and work crossword puzzles.
Survivors include 3 children, Derek John Bidleman (Susan), Grand Blanc, Mi.; Becket Irene Korson, Windsor, Mo.; and Tobin Lee Bidleman, Grand Rapids, Mi.; 9 grandchildren, Maghan Cox (Ryan), Cody Korson, Ashley Werths (Davin), Helena Elizabeth Bidleman, Jacob Morgan Bidleman, Mary Margaret Bidleman, Matthew Joseph Treshock, William Hendy Bidleman, and Tobin Dante Bidleman; 2 great-grandchildren, Rowan Dean Cox and Royce Lane Cox; 2 sisters, Rose Holland, State of Georgia; and Deanna Allen, Kansas City, Mo.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Rebecca Ann Bidleman in March of 1966; and 2 sisters, Barb Pearsall in August of 2012, and Mary Ann Kowalski in October of 2016.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Friday, December 22, 2017, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. Following cremation, burial will take place at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery (Keswick) in Suttons Bay, Mi. The family suggests contributions to Heartland Hospice in care of the funeral home.
