Marjorie Jean Stone, 85, of Windsor, Missouri, formerly of Connersville, Indiana, died Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Mo.
She was born January 13, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Margaret Hildegard Westphal. On June 23, 1974, in New Castle, Ind., she married Johnny Jackson Stone and he preceded her in death on December 11, 1997.
Marjorie worked as a waitress at both a café and a bar in the Chicago, Illinois area. She enjoyed sewing, coloring, reading and watching horror movies. She also loved her pets, especially her dog Oreo.
Survivors include 8 children, LaVerne Gunther (Ralph), Wautoma, Wisconsin; Jeff Reichert, Connersville, Ind.; Herman Reichert, Connersville, Ind.; Donna Luckinbill (Roger), Windsor, Mo.; Lisa Reichert, Connersville, Ind.; Dawn Ellingson (Joe), Higgins, Texas; Billy Westphal, Windsor, Mo.; and an adopted son, Eric Stone, Connersville, Ind.; numerous grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Lewis Thomas “PeeWee” Reichert, Jr. just before his 4th birthday; and a sister Diane and brother Paul.
No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
