Obituary of John "Wellie" Bradley
John W. “Wellie” Bradley, 66, of Calhoun, Missouri, died Monday morning, February 6, 2017, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs, Mo.
He was born November 14, 1950, the son of Clarence Oliver Bradley and Daisy Evelyn Bradley. He graduated from Windsor High School and spent most of his life close to the farm. In addition to cattle farming, he also worked as a welder, at the Farmers Elevator & Supply in Clinton, Schreiber Foods in Clinton, and as a school bus driver for Windsor schools. Wellie was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Clinton.
Survivors include a son Brandon Bradley and his wife Caitlin, Blue Springs, Mo.; 2 daughters, Sarah Mitchell, Oak Grove, Mo., and Andrea Bradley, Windsor, Mo.; 7 grandchildren, Laurence Mitchell, Leah Mitchell, Jamie Mitchell, Dakota Mitchell, Kaleb Long, Bowen Bradley, and Bladen Bradley; a sister; a brother; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
