Beverly Wesner, 82, of Windsor, Missouri, died Saturday morning, August 26, 2017, at the Western Missouri Medical Center, Warrensburg, Missouri.
She was born December 4, 1934, in rural Windsor, Mo., the daughter of Vencil Mitchell Murray and Ella Maude (Goff) Murray. On October 26, 1958, at the Windsor United Methodist Church, she married Rodney Eugene Wesner and he survives of the home.
Beverly worked for the Royal McBee typewriter company for a time and was a homemaker. She was a long-time member of the Windsor United Methodist Church. She also had been a member of the Tera Kidwell church circle and the Jaycee Janes. She enjoyed plays, concerts, and outings with her family.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a son Brad Wesner and wife Michelle, Simpsonville, SC; a daughter Suzanne Chapman and husband Tony, Clinton, MO; her sister Sue Taylor and husband Norman (Mike), Windsor; a sister-in-law Ann Wesner, Carlisle, PA; 8 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a number of nephews and nieces.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Tony Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family suggests contributions to the Windsor United Methodist Church and may be left in care of the funeral home.
