Hunter Dwayne Kent, 3 months and 19 days, died Monday evening, February 18, 2019, at Children’s Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Mo.
He was born October 29, 2018, the son of Tyler Dwayne Kent and Kayla Ashley Foreman. He was a happy baby, always smiling and brought much joy to his family. During his short time here on earth, he was a fighter and a “little gift” to all those who loved him. Through organ donation this gift of life continues to other children.
In addition to his parents, Tyler and Kayla, he is survived by maternal grandparents, Eric Foreman and Todd Foreman, both of Windsor, and Dawn Keithley (Danny), Nixa, Mo.; paternal grandparents, Lanita and Dennis Brockman, Clinton, Mo.; a maternal great-grandmother, Judy “Grammy” Antrikin, Windsor, Mo.; a paternal great-grandmother, Lawanda “Mamaw” Kent, Independence, Mo.; aunts and uncles Zach and Sarah Foreman, Windsor, Mo., and Bethany and Kentrell Lee, Oak Grove, Mo.; cousins, Mckenzie, Kendon, Kentrell, and Kaesen Lee and Brennan and Jenson Foreman; and many other great-uncles, great-aunts and extended family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Pastor Kentrell Lee and Rev. Bill Douglas officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The family suggests contributions to the Ronald McDonald House in care of the funeral home.
