Anita Rae Clubb, 91, of Windsor, Missouri, left this world on Friday, September 6, 2019, in Midway, Pennsylvania, after a short battle with cancer.
Anita was born in Windsor, Mo., on January 17, 1928 to Virgil and Mayme Bell. She was a life-long resident of the Windsor-Clinton area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Windsor. She married her childhood sweetheart, Russell Clubb in Windsor, Mo., on December 25, 1944. Five children were born of this union. She worked at Unitog in Clinton and Warrensburg for 10 years and at Rival Manufacturing for over 20 years before retiring in 2001. She loved her privacy, watching birds and squirrels from her patio and ordering and planting different kinds of trees on her farm. She was an avid sports watcher. Little league baseball and Nascar racing were her favorites. She spent many hours crocheting as well.
She is survived by her daughter, Anita Louise (Clubb) Baker of Pace, Florida; a son, Russell Michael “Mike” Clubb (Wendy), of Midway, Pa., 8 grandchildren, Shane Baker (Tracey), Virginia Beach, Virginia; Scott Baker, Virginia Beach, Va.; Michelle (Baker) Crooks (Rennie), Milton, Fl.; Russell Davis, Kansas City, Mo.; Chris Davis (Stephanie), Blue Springs, Mo.; Ona (Clubb) Flaus, Midway, Pa.; Steven Davis (Holly), Lee’s Summit, Mo.; and Jennifer Bosch (John), Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Virgil Bell in 1985 and Mayme Manilla (Durvin) Bell in 1995; 3 children, Terry Edward Clubb in 1954, Robert Charles “Chuck” Clubb in 1972; and Diana Lynn (Clubb) Davis in 2018.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2019, at the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. before the service at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. The family suggests contributions to the hospice organization of your choice.
