Darrell Keith Bryant (Baba), 83, of Windsor, Missouri, died Thursday morning, April 9, 2020, at the Windsor Healthcare & Rehab Center. He was born June 11, 1936 in Ozark, Mo., the son of Orby R. Bryant and Inez Gertrude (McWilliams) Bryant. On August 20, 1961, in Sutherland, Mo., he married Roberta Joan Powell and she preceded him in death on October 25, 1999. He attended and graduated from college at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Mo. Darrell served his country in the U.S. Navy and was a farmer and cattleman for most of his adult life. He was very active in his community serving on the boards of the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor Senior Center, and the Windsor 4 County Fire, to name a few. He loved his dogs and cats on the farm and spent many hours each day tending to them. Survivors include three daughters: Lisa Kay Parks and her husband Mark, Windsor, Mo., Lori Ann Bryant, Windsor, Mo., and Cynthia Joan Pummill and her husband Scott, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; five grandchildren, Ryan Joseph Parks and his wife Jamie, Chelsea Lynnette Irby and her husband Andy, Bailey Joanne Roberts, Cody Lee Roberts and his wife Tara, and Delaney Elizabeth Pummill; four great grandchildren, Peyton and Carson Parks, Violet Irby, and Jackson Roberts; one sister, Mary Margaret Kandler, Sarasota, Fl.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to his wife Roberta, he was preceded in death by his father, mother, and grandson Andrew Herbert Parks. Private family graveside services will be held at the Laurel Oak Cemetery with Rev. Clif Dudley officiating. Friends may call Friday, April 10, 2020 from 9 am to 8 pm at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. The family suggests contributions to the Old Drum & Friends Animal Shelter and may be mailed or left in care of the funeral home.
