A life-long sports enthusiast, he particularly liked the Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs and the Mizzou Tigers. He was a member of the Calhoun United Methodist Church, Calhoun, Mo. Brett faced many challenges in life. But with the support of his Mother, family, and church family, he never failed to give his best effort and was an inspiration to those around him.
