Obituary of Linda White
Linda White, 73, of Windsor, Missouri, died early Saturday morning, April 13, 2019, at Saint Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas.
She was born April 15, 1945, in Lathrop, Missouri, the daughter of Harvey Randolph Irby and Roseanna (Matthes) Irby. She enjoyed many wonderful years with her life partner Ronald Hall who preceded her in death May 3, 1997.
She worked at the International Shoe Factory in Windsor for several years. She also did laundry at the former Windsor Resthaven Nursing Home and worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart in Clinton. She volunteered at the Windsor Senior Center and loved bingo and going to “the boats.” She attended Assembly of God of Windsor.
Survivors include 2 sons, Ricky White, State of Missouri, and Robert White (LaShawn), Windsor, Mo.; 2 daughters, Angie White (Scottie Walker), and Courtney Eisel (Colby Eisel) all of Windsor; 8 grandchildren, Nathan Hargett, DayLynn White, Thomas White, Rylee White, Kloi Austin, Hannah White, Caleb Eisel, and Laci Eisel; a brother, Gordon Irby, Appleton City, Mo.; several nieces and nephews including Michael Tate, Shelley Callahan, and Jimmy Jones; several great-nieces, great-nephews; and her special grand dog “Tinkerbell” which brought her much enjoyment. In addition to her parents and her life partner Ronald, she was preceded in death by a son, Billy White, in infancy; a sister, JoAnn Jones; and a half-brother, Harvey Irby Jr.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Rev. Gene Ekstrand officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, at a later date. The family will receive friends before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The family suggests contributions to help with funeral expenses.
