Obituary of Linda Quick
Linda Quick, 68, of Windsor, Missouri, died early Monday morning, April 29, 2019, at her home in Windsor.
She was born April 12, 1951, in Windsor, Mo., the daughter of William Allen “Jiggs” Hanger and Helen Emogene (Mantonya) Hanger. In 1971, she married Donald L. Eidson and two children were born to this union, Chad and Lori. On February 14, 1997, in Clinton, Mo., she married Paul Edward “Eddie” Quick and he survives of the home.
Linda was baptized at the age of 12 at First Baptist Church, Windsor, and was a 1969 graduate of Windsor High School. She worked for Port’s Jewelry Store, later known as Seaton’s Jewelry Store. She was a long-time employee of UMB Bank in Windsor, working from 1979 to April 30, 2016. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #102, Windsor, and served as a Rainbow Mother Adviser. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Calhoun, Mo. She enjoyed flowers and looked forward to fireworks on the Fourth of July.
In addition to her husband Eddie, survivors include 5 children, Jon Quick (Aline), Sedalia, Mo.; Chad Eidson (Melissa), Windsor, Mo.; Jeremy Quick (Loribeth), Warrensburg, Mo.; Lori Ebeling (Jerrod), Windsor, Mo.; and Adam Quick, Windsor, Mo.; 8 grandchildren, Jordan, Drew (Savannah), Eric (Jessica), Delaney, Luke, Morgan, Khloe, and Zoey; a great-granddaughter on the way to Drew and Savannah; 2 brothers, Bobby Hanger (Shirley), Windsor, Mo.; and Jerry Hanger (Brenda), Sedalia, Mo.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Larry Hanger and Ronald “Ronnie” Hanger.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2019, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Pastor Larry Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to Farrington Park in care of the funeral home.
