Obituary of Rose Creach
Rose Creach, 87, of Richmond, Mo., formerly of Windsor, Mo., died Monday, June 24, 2019, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
She was born September 18, 1931, in Macks Creek, Mo., the daughter of Edward Levi “Eddie” Pennel and Beatrice Francis “Bea” (Driscoll) Pennel. On September 12, 1954, in Macks Creek, she married Arron Kenneth “Jack” Creach and he preceded her in death on December 3, 2005.
Rose worked at the International Shoe Factory, Windsor Hospital and Resthaven Nursing Home, all formerly in Windsor. She enjoyed quilting, embroidery, gardening, canning, cooking, and reading. She was a long-time member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Windsor, and taught children’s Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. She was also active in WMU and the quilting group of the church. Her kind and caring nature was a blessing to her family and church family.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Pamela Sue Walden and her husband Andy, Richmond, Mo.; Mary Jane McKim and her life partner Kevin Tolliver, Windsor, Mo.; and Beth Ann Spalding and her husband Earl “Butch,” Windsor, Mo.; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, Roy Alfred Pennel and his wife Gloria, Lawrence, Kansas; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her husband Jack, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth E. Creach; a great-grandson, McKein Michael Burch; 2 brothers, John Franklin Pennel and Paul Issac Pennel both in infancy; 3 sisters, Mary Anna Harber, Janie Alpha Reeves, and Opal Lucille Parmalee.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2019, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Rev. Justin Wright officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends before the service from10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The family suggests contributions to the Calvary Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
