Camping at the Missouri State Fair was an annual tradition. “Grandma Jack,” as she was affectionately known to many children in addition to her own grandchildren, was an excellent cook and seamstress. She liked any kind of handwork and enjoyed reading and special knit nights with her sisters, nieces, and granddaughters. She loved her family and friends and they were always welcome in her home and there was always room at her table. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Windsor.
