Obituary of Bryan "Uncle" Dollard
Bryan “Uncle” Dollard, 73, of Windsor, Missouri, died Thursday morning, June 25, 2020, at his home in Windsor. He was born April 15, 1947, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Wesley Lee Dollard and Lenora Elizabeth (Danner) Dollard. Bryan served in the United States Army from 1964 to 1968. He then worked as a truck driver until moving back to Windsor and began working at the Marti Hatchery. After the hatchery closed, he worked at Schreiber Foods in Clinton for several years. Bryan loved to fish. He also loved playing games and visiting with friends over a cup of coffee. He was an easy person to talk with and shared many conversations with friends and family over the years. Survivors include a son, Timothy W. Dollard, Chillicothe, Mo.; a sister, Jewel Iles and her husband Bill, Kingsville, Mo.; a brother-in-law, Ron Hayes, Oak Grove, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Judy Dollard, Vinita, Oklahoma; numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Tom Dollard; and 2 sisters, Dixie Hayes and Saundra O’Brian and her husband Bill. No services are planned at this time. Interment will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville at a later date. A memorial fund has been established to help with funeral expenses and contributions may be left in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
