Obituary of Ora Lee Gregory
Ora Lee Gregory, 80, of Windsor, Missouri, died Monday afternoon, August 10, 2020, at his home in Windsor. He was born November 12, 1939, in Norris, Missouri, the son of Ora Ivan Gregory and Mary Frances (Miller) Gregory. Lee was a truck driver for several years. He then worked for Farmers Coop in Nebraska as a mechanic for over 30 years. After retirement, he transported Amish. He enjoyed fishing, coon hunting, and keeping his lawn mowed. He was a summer league baseball coach during the 1990s. He shared laughter and fun with his family. He was a caring person and was always willing to help others. Survivors include 6 children, Nancy Franklin, Peggy Gregory, Windsor, Mo., Darren Gregory, Ivan Gregory, Mary, and Michael Gregory; numerous grandchildren, including Susan Gregory and Tony Gregory; numerous great-grandchildren including Haley Gregory, Starrlyn Gregory, and Nova Gregory; 2 brothers, Charles Gregory and Don Gregory; 2 sisters, Mary Ann Dempsey, and Ethel Commins; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ricky Gregory; a grandson, Allen Gregory; and 3 brothers, John Gregory, Ed Gregory, and Robert “Bob” Gregory. No services are planned at this time. A memorial fund has been established to help with funeral expenses and contributions may be left in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
