Obituary of Beverly Beach
Beverly (Lucas) Beach, 73, of Windsor, Missouri, died late Tuesday evening, September 22, 2020, at her home in Windsor. She was born January 7, 1947, in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, the daughter of David Richmond Lucas Sr., and Evea Marie (Morgan) Lucas. On November 19, 1965, in Phoenix, Arizona, she married Charles Leroy Beach and he preceded her in death on December 31, 2006. Beverly graduated from West Seattle High School. She worked for the International Shoe Factory for 7 years, Grain Belt Hatchery for 15 years, Greg Frencken, State Farm Agent for 11 years, and the Windsor United Methodist Church for 6 years, all in Windsor. She was a member of the Windsor United Methodist Church and taught Sunday School for over 40 years. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Windsor Keystone Club. She was kind and caring and took very special care of those around her. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, quilting, and working cross word puzzles. Going out to eat and spending time in her flower gardens and taking care of the birds at her feeders were all things she enjoyed. Survivors include a step-son, Jeff Beach, Nevada, Mo.; 2 sons-in-law, Timothy Narron, Clinton, Mo., and Jerry Howard (Marissa), Smithton, Mo.; 8 grandchildren, Alexandra Narron, Cody Narron, Jeremy Howard, Brittany File, Tabitha Beach, Bobby Beach, Christopher Heckadon, and Jesalyn McKibben and 9 great-grandchildren, all of Missouri; 5 sisters, Cindy Davis (Jim), Sherry Dryer (John), Kathy Steen, Patty Kennedy (Jeff) and Beatrice Cochran (Preston) and a brother, David Lucas, Jr. (Kenna), all of Washington; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her husband Charlie, she was preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters, Beth Howard and Lynn Narron, and a granddaughter, Misha Howard. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2020, at the Windsor United Methodist Church with Pastor Pete Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family suggests contributions to the Windsor United Methodist Church in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
