Obituary of George LaRose

George LaRose, 69, of Windsor, Missouri, formerly of Muskegon Heights, Michigan, died Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, Mo. He was born June 25, 1951, in South Bend, Indiana, the son of George LaRose and Ruby Etta (Harvey) LaRose. On April 8, 1972, he married Patricia Agnes McDowell at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Muskegon Heights, and she survives of the home. George worked at the Whitehall Leather Company in Michigan for a number of years. He loved engines and mechanics and also worked in plumbing and owned and operated a landscape irrigation company. He enjoyed racing and trail rides on motorcycles or any small engine vehicle he could modify. He also liked spending time outdoors fishing and going on family camping trips. He had a way with animals and especially loved his dog companions, “Pumpkin” and “Spike.” He attended Assembly of God of Windsor. In addition to his wife Pat, survivors include 2 sisters, Lillian McCoy (Lonnie), Windsor, Mo., and Marie LaRose, Windsor, Mo.; numerous nieces and nephews, include James Dean; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dale LaRose; 2 sisters, Julia LaRose, and Doloris LaRose; and a nephew, Bill Savage. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. The family suggests contributions to Pawsibilities Are Endless in Windsor and contributions maybe left in care of the funeral home.
