He will be missed. My son and grandson had the great experience of hearing stories of my dad Dr Clear way back when while getting haircuts. Awesome memory for them to hear those stories. Sympathy to the family.

Mike was a fantastic man! He loved with all his heart. He loved Sue and they raised two amazing daughters. He loved his two girls with all his heart and if possible, his grandkids and great grandchildren even more! He will be missed by all who knew him. His time on earth is over but I know he is receiving his Heavenly rewards and was greeted by his Heavenly Father, his parents, Cameron and all those who have gone before him. I also believe he got to meet and hold his newest great granddaughter before she is born. Until we meet again
Love,
Beth and all the Cantwell’s

Mike was like a family member, as the only one that cut David's hair. This is true of many men that attended his shop. Always had a smile and conversation with those he served. He will be sadly missed. Love and prayers from the Warners.m

So sorry for your loss, Mr Taylor was one heck of a barber and a better man, I remember many hair cut's at Taylors Barber Shop, my most memorable one was mid 1970's when Happy Day's and Fonzi were popular myself Bob Mefford and Rodney Gardner went to see Mike and he asked what he could do for us and we all asked for "Duck Tail" haircuts like Fonzi and he grinned at us and asked if we knew what that was and we confirmed and proceeded to walk out with the best Duck Tail haircuts ever! Thank you Mike for being such a good human all these years! God Bless your family and bring them peace and comfort in the days ahead of you all>

So sorry to hear this. Fifty-two years is a long, long time to have been a barber. Sue, Vicki, and Gary, it is a delight to know you as you take me back to my connections with the Murray family. Sue, I am sure you were a wonderful city clerk for the City of Windsor.
Vicki and Gary, thank you for your service at First Methodist of Monett. May our Lord and memories bring comfort in you during this time.

My youth has so many memories of Mike . He was like my second Dad. All the ball games he gave me rides to, church events. He was always there when my parents couldn't be. What a great support he gave me when i needed it. To this day whenever he would see me he would smile , say hi and ask how things were going
He even came to the resxue when my Dad passed.
I will always remember him with fond memories.
Prayers for all the family and may God embrace you in his loving arms to give you comfort.

A great man. Whenever I came home on visits during my time in the Army, I would always go to see Mike for a haircut. He always asked about my career and how it was going. It was always a good talk and I never got in a hurry to get my haircut. And he never charged me full price, even though I would have happily paid. That was just the kind of man he was.

Sue, Vicki and Becky, my sincere sympathy to you for the loss of a good man. I still have a clear image from my youth of the backs of the four Taylor heads a few rows up in the sanctuary. Mike always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. Thoughts and prayers with all of you as you mourn him and move forward.

I’ve known Mike my entire life. I have more memories of him than I can ever relate, all good ones (and how many people can you say that about)! He was four years ahead of me in school, but I had many opportunities to play ball with him. He was then and always thereafter a hero to me. I was shocked by his passing and the thought that I’d never again get to be with him, whether at church on Sunday’s and Wednesday nights, in his “chair “ or otherwise. I’m praying that Sue and his family will be comforted by God and Mike’s many friends and admirers. May God bless Sue and them.

Sue, Vicki and Becky,
Please know each of you have my heartfelt condolences. We pray for God' s love to surround you with comfort and peace as you mourn the loss of Mike. I remember Mike and Sue never missed a game when Vicki was cheerleading. We could always count on him to cheer us on (and the team)!. I know he did the same for Becky. He was one of our biggest fans! I know you have many memories to treasure. Remembering all of you in my prayers.
Many Blessings,
Myra Fouts

Mike and I were members of the Windsor Jaycees for a long time and I really enjoyed that association. I remember many times sitting in Mike's barber chair, hearing tales of WHS, especially about the classes of 1959 and 1960. He would ask about my brother and sister-in-law every time, and say how they had such good times when they were both young married couples. During my years in the National Guard, I would visit Mike on Friday prior to our weekend drills. However, one time just before Annual Training, when we were leaving on a Friday, I forgot to get to the barber shop before he closed on Thursday evening. I called Mike and whined a little, and he came to the barber shop and cut my hair. Even though it was an inconvenience, and totally my fault, he was cheerful and friendly. That says just what kind of a man he was. Luckily, I got to visit with Mike and Sue for a few minutes in early December. Gene Henry
