Obituary of Kenneth "Kenny" Brickey
Kenneth “Kenny” Brickey, 34, of Warrensburg, Mo., died early Wednesday morning, February 24, 2021, at Western Missouri Medical Center, Warrensburg, Mo. He was born October 2, 1986, in Alamogordo, New Mexico, the son of Dean Thomas Brickey and Candace Faye Hawthorn. He graduated from high school in San Antonio and had received his HVAC certification. He was currently working at Stahl Specialty Company in Kingsville, Mo. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 2004-2009. Working on cars and time spent outdoors fishing and camping were things he enjoyed. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Making time to share special memories with his daughter, his girlfriend and her children was what mattered most to Kenny. Survivors include his girlfriend Amanda Green and her children, Bryanna, Allyssa, Xavior and Hannah, Warrensburg, Mo., his daughter, Kaylieann, Clinton, Utah; his father, Dean Brickey (Ann), Knob Noster, Mo.; his mother, Candace Hawthorn (Terry), Henderson, Texas; a sister, Andrea Brickey (fiancé John Nguyen), Dallas, Tx.; a brother, Terry Hawthorn, San Antonio, Tx.; step-sisters, Victoria Harnish and Elizabeth (Dre) Duran, Lampasas, Tx.; a step-brother, Austin Palmer, Windsor, Mo.; three nieces and one nephew; his grandfather, Robert Brickey, Newport, Oregon; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
