Obituary of Larry "LC" Catron
Larry “LC” Catron, 67, of Windsor, Missouri, died Wednesday evening, May 19, 2021, at his home near Windsor. He was born January 16, 1954, in Adrian, Mo., the son of Ronald Dean Catron and Norma Faye (Chenoweth) Catron. After graduating high school, he earned an associate degree from Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City. He served in the United States Air Force from 1973 to 1975. Larry worked as an electrician for several years. But by night, you could find him umpiring baseball and softball games all over West-Central Missouri. He enjoyed farm life and growing blackberries. He was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his fiancé Linda Griffin of the home; a son, Paul Catron (Crystal), Jefferson City, Mo.; his father, Ronald Catron, State of Texas; 3 step-daughters, Twila Christopher, Windsor, Mo., Tonia Griffin of the home; and Jennifer Butler, Independence, Mo.; 6 grandchildren, Sierra, Austin, Zachary, Joshua, Hayden, and Mathew; 2 great-granddaughters, Ava and Everleigh; a sister, Kelli Catron, Pittsburg, Mo.; and a niece, Savannah. He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma, and a brother, Allan. A visitation will be held Friday, May 28, 2021, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with a time of sharing at 1:30 p.m. The family suggests contributions to the Windsor Youth Baseball and Softball Association (WYBSA) in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
