Obituary of Devin Boyer

Devin Boyer, 22, of Windsor, Missouri, died Tuesday morning, July 27, 2021, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Mo. He was born April 2, 1999, in Clinton, Mo., the son of Spencer Ray Boyer and Katie Jo (McKeehan) Boyer. He was a 2017 graduate of Windsor High School. He enjoyed all sports as a young boy, but baseball became his focus and passion during his high school years. Devin was a hard worker. He had several jobs during high school and had worked at Duke Manufacturing in Sedalia for three years. He enjoyed bowling, was currently playing in a men’s softball league, and loved a good game of cornhole. Fishing, hunting, tinkering on his truck or hanging out with his dog Easton were also things he enjoyed. His outgoing personality and drive to try new things led him to learn bull riding. Devin was a dreamer, always looking for new opportunities, experiences, and adventures. His heart was genuine and his love for his family and friends was big. He will be dearly missed. As an organ donor, Devin’s care and concern for others will live on. Survivors include his mother, Katie Boyer, Lenexa, Kansas; his father, Spencer Boyer (Melissa), Windsor, Mo.; a sister, Morgan Boyer (Tyler Andreasen), Clinton, Mo.; a step-brother, Nick Williams, Monroe City, Mo.; a step-sister, MacKayla Williams, Windsor, Mo.; a niece, McKinley Andreasen; and a nephew, Hunter Andreasen, on the way; maternal grandparents, Larry and Barbara Montague, Knob Noster, Mo.; paternal step-grandmother, Karla Strode, Hannibal, Mo.; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by is paternal grandparents, Oscar and Linda Boyer; a paternal step-grandfather, Charles Strode; and an aunt, Kelly Boyer.
