Donna Griffith, 76, of Clinton, Mo., died early Thursday morning, September 2, 2021, at Warsaw Health and Rehabilitation, Warsaw, Mo. She was born October 13, 1944, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Perry Roosevelt Clark and Bertha Lee (Martin) Clark. On July 8, 1960, she married Dale Ewing Griffith in Warsaw, Mo. He preceded her in death on January 6, 2007. Donna loved being a wife and was a devoted mother to her four daughters, Teresa, Sheila, Jacque, and Diana. As they got older, she decided to return to school and became an LPN. She worked at several nursing homes including Medical Lodge in Butler, Foxwood Springs in Raymore, and Crown Care in Harrisonville. She had a kind and compassionate heart and enjoyed caring for others and this vocation was a natural fit for her. She also enjoyed traveling with her family, trout fishing adventures, and watching hummingbirds at her feeders. She liked to read and always kept up with her favorite soap operas. Some of her fondest memories were of the many spontaneous trips on the back roads of Missouri with her sisters tracking down distant relatives and tracing the footsteps of her Clark/Martin ancestors. Her caring nature extended to her family, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by 4 daughters, Teresa Base (Loren), Warsaw, Mo.; Sheila Kreisel (David), Lincoln, Mo.; Jacque Davis (Kevin), Kansas City, Mo.; and Diana Ferguson, Spring Hill, Kansas; 9 grandchildren, Pamelia Minks, Joshua Schultz, Kori Lewellen, Jessica Shoop, Emma Kreisel, Amanda Gillespie, Jonathan Rotert, Cody Ferguson and Rebekah Ferguson; and 12 great-grandchildren, Parker, Kaden, Bridger, Hunter, Rylee, Bryan, Josephine, Clayton, Amelia, Robert, Everly, and a great-grandchild on the way; a sister, Sherry Clark (Sheri), Acton, Maine; a brother-in-law, Harlest Griffith (Vera); and multiple nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her husband Dale, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, David Kreisel; a brother, Ronnie Clark; and 2 sisters, Pat Greer and Dolores King. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Roseland, Mo. The family suggests contributions to the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
