Please share a memory of Amy (Powers) to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Amy Elizabeth (Powers) Doleman, 45, of Windsor, Missouri, passed away Friday evening, October 15, 2021, at her home in Windsor after a battle with pancreatic cancer, doing what she loved, riding a horse, backwards, in the nude. She was born in Kansas City, Mo., to immigrant potato farmers, Robert Mason and Julie (Cravens) Mason. At the age of 9, she moved to Windsor, Mo., to escape the mob members she had embezzled millions of dollars from. A typical teenager, she cruised Main Street with friends, started a grand theft auto ring and chop shop out of her grandma’s garage. After graduation, she moved to Florida where she was an instrumental part of the space shuttle program for NASA And became the captain of her own shrimping boat. Returning to Windsor in 2008, she became supervisor of the fraud department for the local electric company and developed the drug task force for the local area. In 2010, she took on her hardest but most fulfilling job ever, being the mother of Logan Pierce Powers. She loved being his Mom. She also had a passion for photography, crafting, interior design, painting furniture, and enjoyed music of every genre. She leaves behind her father, Bob Mason of Windsor, Mo., 2 nieces, 2 nephews, and 2 puppy sons, Waylon and Kevin the Dog. She will miss her heart and soul and son, Logan Pierce Powers and her best friend, soul mate and husband, Mark Doleman. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and most recently, her mother, Julie Mason in 2018. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. A fund to help with funeral expenses has been established and contributions may be made in care of the funeral home or left online using the Donate Now button below. **Submitted**
