Obituary of Beverly Ann Gress

Beverly Ann Gress, 63, of Windsor, Missouri, formerly of Clinton, Mo., died Monday afternoon, February 7, 2022, at her home near Windsor. She was born August 11, 1958, in Butler, Mo., the daughter of Eathyl Mae Garren. She attended Windsor High School and then worked as a CNA. She also worked in the lunchroom at the Clinton Middle School for several years. When her children were born, she enjoyed being a mother and spending time with her family gave her great joy. She also enjoyed music and crocheting and made several adventurous travel trips in the past several years. Survivors include 3 children, Rhonda Diana Hawkins (Mathaniel), Windsor, Mo., Roger Thomas “R.T.” Gress (Brandy), Appleton City, Mo., and Amber Ann Lemarr (David), Warrensburg, Mo.; long-time friend and companion Ray E. Hawkins, Windsor, Mo.; a step-son, Anthony Ray Hawkins (Kimberly), Windsor, Mo.; 8 grandchildren, Cierra Gress, Hailey Gress, Jordan Gress, Zander Hawkins, Amanda Lemarr, Bailey Hawkins, Austin Hawkins, and Anthony Hawkins Jr.; a brother, Charles A. Garren, Clinton, Mo.; 2 sisters, Cindy Schroeder, Lowry City, Mo., and Leslie Stephens, Clinton, Mo.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother; former husband Roger Gress, and 2 brothers, Leo Garren and Douglas Garren. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, at the Lowry City Cemetery, Lowry City, Mo., with Rev. Herbert Robertson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. The family suggests contributions to the Lowry City Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
