Obituary of Barbara Bohon
Barbara Jean Bohon, 73, of Windsor, Missouri, died Saturday morning, February 26, 2022, at Ridge Crest Nursing Center, Warrensburg, Mo. She was born July 29, 1948, in Windsor, Mo., the daughter of Clarence Oliver Bradley and Daisy Evelyn (McFerrin) Bradley. As a young girl, she showed Angus cattle in 4-H with her parents and two brothers. They won many trophies and championships at the Missouri State Fair as part of Bradley Angus Farms. She was a 1966 graduate of Windsor High School. She worked at Marti Hatchery and Parmelee Industries in Windsor before going back to school at Central Missouri State University (now UCM) to obtain a daycare license. She successfully operated the Wiggle Worm daycare in Windsor for over 30 years. Barbara loved her family and grandkids. She liked crafting and was very artistic. She enjoyed playing board games and was ferocious Yahtzee player. In later years, she loved doing word searches and sudoku puzzles. She was an avid reader, devouring several books a day. Survivors include 2 children, Brenda Bowers (Michael), Windsor, Mo., and Brad Bohon (Brie), Mora, Mo.; 11 grandchildren, Zackery (Whitney), Clinton (Emily), Breanna, Nicholas, Matthew, Nolan, Elizabeth, Avery, Kolby, Cheyenne (Hailey), and Dakota (Kurstin); 7 great-grandchildren, Olsyn, Paxton, Olivia, Indy, Nash, Decklyn, and Rory; a brother, Clarence O. Bradley, Jr.; and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Becci Anne Franklin; and a brother, John W. “Wellie” Bradley. No services are planned at this time. The family suggests contributions to the Windsor Farrington Park in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
