Obituary of Connie Goff

Connie Goff, 77, of Windsor, Missouri, died Wednesday evening, May 18, 2022, at Windsor Healthcare & Rehabilitation. She was born April 20, 1945, in Windsor, Mo., the daughter of Robert Earl Goff and Irmah Helen (Greene) Goff. Connie was a 1963 graduate of Windsor High School. She worked for a short time in the office of the International Shoe Factory in Windsor to save money to attend beauty school. After beauty school, she worked for several local beauty shops. She then opened Connie’s Cut and Curl which she operated for over 40 years before her retirement. Connie was a life-long member of the First Baptist Church, Windsor. She faithfully taught preschool Sunday School for many years and served in various ways, including helping with church dinners. Connie’s arms were always open and her lap ready to take care of children. She lovingly cared for babies and toddlers in the church nursery for over 50 years. She enjoyed many outings, family gatherings, and trips with her cousin, Sue Taylor and her family. Survivors include a niece, Mary Beth Goff (Kathy Jones), Carbondale, Illinois; a nephew, Phil Goff (Sydney), Overland Park, Kansas; 4 great-nieces and great-nephews, Drew Jones, Maya Jones, Jeffrey Goff, and Emmy Goff; and several cousins including Sue Austin, Shirley Brown, and Sue Taylor and her family including daughters, Vicki Ferdig (Gary) and Becky Gallagher (Tim). Mike and Sue’s daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were very special to Connie. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Robert “Bob” Goff; a nephew, Jeff Goff; and Sue’s husband, Mike Taylor. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2022, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, with Pastor Pete Hill officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the First Baptist Church for the nursery department in care of the funeral home.
