Obituary of Jason Fisher

Jason Ray “J-Ray” Fisher, 48, of Windsor, Missouri, formerly of LaMonte, Mo., died Monday, September 19, 2022, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Mo. He was born March 11, 1974, in St. Louis, Mo., the son of James Avon Fisher and Deborah Angela (Starnas) Fisher. He married Jennifer Lynn Stivers in 2014 in LaMonte, Mo., and she survives of the home. Jason was a talented brick mason. He worked for B & C Construction and his work was well-known in Knob Noster and the surrounding area. He enjoyed the outdoors and any excuse to spend time with his family hunting arrowheads and other Native American artifacts or mushrooms and going fishing and hiking. He had many pet “critters” found on his outdoor adventures. He liked to ride motorcycles and work on vehicles. He loved his family and family was the most important thing to him. In addition to his wife Jennifer, survivors include 4 children, Dakodah Rain Yount Fisher (Paige Yount), Windsor, Mo.; Noah James Fisher (Haylee), Colorado; Kylea Paige Fisher (Jake Pardee), Knob Noster, Mo.; and Brett Allen Michael Fisher, Windsor, Mo.; his mother, Deborah Milhone, Buena Vista, Colorado; 3 brothers, Michael Fisher (Nichole), St. Louis, Mo.; Shaun Fisher, Flippin, Arkansas; and David Fisher (Cassandra), Knob Noster, Mo.; a sister, Ashley Milhone, Buena Vista, Colorado; 4 grandchildren, Noah James, Kasen Yount, Creed Pardee, Ryli Autumn McNeely, and one grandchild on the way; a step-daughter, Sierra Nicole Stivers, Blue Springs, Mo.; and many special nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father; his grandmother, Vera Fisher; a brother, Brett Hefner; a niece, Ariana Sage Fisher; a cousin, Bobby Joe Gregory; and long-time friend Johnny Panichi. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2022, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends before the service from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends may also pay their respects Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A fund has been established to help with funeral expenses.
